Narrowcast Australia Incorporated is a not-for-profit, member-based association dedicated to Australia’s open narrowcast radio sector, including MFNAS members, and representing licensees that deliver targeted services for specific interests, locations and communities.

Our committee and operational roles are entirely voluntary, with no paid positions, ensuring that member funds are directed to member services and sector support rather than salaries.

Member funds are not used to pay for airfares to Canberra or to lobby Ministers; instead, we maintain open, transparent dialogue with regulators, policymakers and stakeholders using modern communication technologies such as online meetings, written submissions and digital collaboration.

This lean, member-focused approach allows narrowcast operators of all sizes—from single-site LPON services to larger HPON networks—to participate effectively in advocacy and sector development without traditional overheads.
